Man discovered vibrations and sound |
Sounds are only tools, synthetic or samples of real instruments like the violin or piano. Before violin there were other sounds. Grasshoppers make distinct sounds, which one can sample and play on a keyboard, or frog sounds etc, These are tools, which everyone uses as they like to, and have fun with. Hence, if someone uses one particular sound in psychedelic or punk-rock music it does not mean that this sound is then stolen away from the rest of us because it is being used to create craziness or express craziness. Just because people are frustrated and can't just go around smashing things, for the law restricts them; they go to those kind of concerts, screaming their lungs out, or go to football matches and let all out. Others go for other extremes, but that does not mean that I must then stop play an electric guitar or a keyboard just because they use them. Should I stop singing through a microphone or use livelier beats and rhythms? Some dance to Polka 1/3, "it still puzzles me how they do it." If sound puts a smile on your face than that's good. Getting silly like kids is also healthy.
Some of you out there have become too serious. Loosen up those somber faces and those pensive religious expressions, melancholia and piousness. Get silly. Have fun.
If we let everyone appropriate all that man produces - guitar, violin or piano - than we would be chased to a corner, worse, get into a tight cell in which we can't move and then die… I suppose. That's what those unintelligent people, founders of their religious movement have done and still keep on doing through their successors today. Even those founders are long dead - having no clue about the world we live in today with email, blogs and electronic gadgetry - they keep people in bandage. The spirit of religion and something that restrict exerts more power than the spirit of truth, peace or freedom. Intuitively, people are drawn to something that would restrict their freedoms because they really don't trust themselves and are not able to handle freedom on their own. And, that is due to the way we educate. Instead of teaching how to handle freedom responsibly; freedom is viewed as something dangerous. Pagans knew no freedom.
In Israel's case God played with compression and decompression in order to teach the Hebrews how to handle freedom. Egypt's slavery of 400 years was the compression period of time; and the wilderness was the decompressing period of 40 years.
Anything narrow and restrictive imposing itself upon another carries the element of fear. If the teacher is insecure then that insecurity he'll pass on to the pupil. But only the slow and dimwitted are drawn to those kind of definitions because they nurse on fear and nurture it. They are lost also and need to have a sense of being right and with it more holy than anyone else. Such people would never reach any sinner for Christ. In order to reach the lost quite often one must go down into a sewer.
These are patterns we must see and above all seek freedom. The most holy thing you could ever do is to first set yourself free; and then make other people free with the power of truth. Primarily what Jesus taught, was laden with the freedom elements; to free people from their terrible bandages.
Watch the word CONTINUE. [John 8:30-31] If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.
Amazingly it is often the reverse. The longer people are subjected to a religious indoctrination the more restrictive they become, e.g., limiting their breathing space, yet grace is the abundance of space and the undeserved favor. So, how can one handle grace, personally, or along the teachings of one's denomination?
One must see God in a much broader picture than just in one small fragment of an isolated verse in the Bible. Fragmented minds create doctrines to feel more righteous than others a "holier than thou" kind of an attitude, which in time turns into a put-on (religious) personality. This is evident in the Jehovah Witnesses and similar to them splinter groups, (like Ephiphanists - Epiphania church, Mennonite branches like the Amish, also Puritans, Quakers etc, and also the Adventists, but I do not know much about them in order to definitely say that they are wrong. No one is really wrong; one is in bandage or is free; free to grow up and outgrow the elementary things.

[Romans 14:13-14] Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather determine this—not to put an obstacle or a stumbling block in a brother’s way.
(14) I know and am convinced in the Lord Jesus that nothing is unclean in itself; but to him who thinks anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean.
If we start eliminating the normal things in life - all that the religious people tell us as being of the devil, unclean ... with endless definitions and subcategories etc, - then we would become "fruitcakes and nuts" we would cease to be normal. Our IQ then would go way down to our feet and we would walk a religious walk and no longer the walk of God's wisdom, which is of the Holy Spirit.
[Romans 8:14-15] For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!”
